The Maya Tie is the ideal carrier for all day wearing for older, heavier children. The weight of the child is distributed across both hips and the shoulders by straps that tie around the adult to hold the child secure next to the adult’s body. In addition, The Maya Tie has a slightly formed body for the baby/child to sit in. The Maya Tie is available in the all of the same hand-loomed Guatemala cottons as the Original Maya Wrap. The standard size will fit most adults. The larger size has longer waist and shoulder straps and will fit the adult with a waist size of 32 inches or larger.
